Medical elastic compression bandage (model 5), medium extensibility (100-150%)

Description

Advantages:

Special weaving technologies used in production of this bandage provide excellent quality and long-term stability of properties even in case of lasting and intensive use.
At the discretion of the patient, a special hook, which is attached to the package, may be used to secure the upper end of the bandage without touching user’s skin.

Usage and Recommendations

Please, consult your doctor before commencing with a use of the bandage to find the correct applying method and time. Your doctor will instruct you also regarding the duration or the frequency of use of the bandage and the application/relaxation change.
Each time, when the bandage goes around the limb, the previous layer should be overlapped by 2/3 of the bandage width. Please, see several wrapping patterns at the back side of the label. You should control the compression created by the bandage to avoid any feeling of discomfort in the wrapped area. Discomfort or pain are signs of incorrect wrapping. If skin color of the limbs (feet, hands, fingers) turns blue or white, you feel a tingling in limbs, or your limbs swell the bandage is wrapped is too tight. You should unwrap it and reduce the stretch.
Please, consult a health expert to choose the correct width and length of the bandage, as well as the wrapping pattern taking into account the size of the body part (knee, elbow, foot of hand) that is supposed to be treated.

Contra-indications and Adverse Reactions:

Clinical data does not contain any information on adverse reactions. You should stop using the bandage and consult a specialist if you have any signs of an individual allergic reaction. The elastic bandage is safe for use provided that all instructions are followed.

Warnings / Safety Measures:

Read the instruction before use! Use only in accordance with recommendations given by a health expert and this instruction! Apply only on undamaged skin! Keep out of the reach of children! In case of doubt, please, contact a specialist!

Care advice:

• The bandage should be washed with mild soap; the water temperature should not exceed 40 °C.
• Rinse the bandage in warm water and dry with a towel without twisting.
• Dry in outspread position on a horizontal surface.
• If followed by this instruction the bandage keeps its functional features even after repeated washing cycles.
• Do not use synthetic detergents.
• Do not iron.
• Do not put in direct sunlight or in the distance less than 1 m from heating devices that radiate heat over +25 ºC.
• Do not store in a place where relative air humidity exceeds 70%, and the room temperature is below 5°C.
